Comprehensive Neuropsychological Assessment

Comprehensive Assessment

Since 2002, our neuropsychology clinics have been the reference in Quebec. This in-depth assessment is designed to provide a complete and detailed profile of an individual’s neuropsychological and emotional functioning. Generally spread over 6 hours (across 2 or 3 days), it allows for a thorough exploration of the main cognitive and emotional domains.

** Please note that this service is offered in French only and the person being assessed must be francophone or perfectly bilingual. The final report can however be translated into English.
** The comprehensive neuropsychological assessment service for adults is available at the Brossard clinic only.
** We do not perform ASD screening (ADOS-2).
** Screening for learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dysorthographia or dyscalculia can only be performed if the person has completed Grade 2.

This assessment is ideal for:

  • Learning Disabilities: Identify specific difficulties in areas such as reading, writing and mathematics.
  • Intelligence Quotient (IQ): Assess general cognitive abilities, including short-term and working memory, problem solving and logical reasoning.
  • Attention and ADD/ADHD: Understand the impact of attention disorders, with or without hyperactivity/impulsivity, in relation to other neuropsychological conditions.
  • Logic, Reasoning and Executive Functions: Analyze skills in organization, planning and complex problem solving.
  • Tourette Syndrome or Non-Verbal Learning Disability: Verify their presence and impact on overall functioning.
  • Emotional Health and Anxiety: Explore emotional factors affecting well-being and overall functioning.
